Ever wanted to play board games with your friends at a restaurant, but worried it might be frowned upon? Or you might not have enough table space? Or it would really suck to get pizza grease all over your $40 game? Well come play with us at Game Theory. Every week, we bring a ton of games to a local Boston restaurant, and let you play whatever you want. We've got extra big tables if you need them and don't worry about getting stuff on the games, because they're ours (okay, actually, you should worry a bit about it, because we really don't want to have to keep buying new games, but we understand that it happens some times). You can play whatever you want for free, we're there from 5:30 to 9:45. At the end of the night, we even give away a prize.
Throughout the month, we'll also have fun one-offs on different nights. You can play in a tournament, competing against other people. You can test out new games being developed by people on Kickstarter. You can even come for our mix-and-match night where you put your name in a hat and get randomly matched with other people to play a fun new game. It's a great way to meet new people and play some games. Check out the site to learn more about what we do, where we're located and how you can start playing at a bar near you.
